Castleblayney Musical Society 

The Castleblayney Musical Society completed a SOLD OUT run in the Iontas Theatre last weekend with the hilarious "Heaven Sent". With popular music and wit from the 90s, the cast had the audience laughing & dancing in their seats.

Shabra Charity Foundation

The Shabra Charity Foundation took place at the Leopardstown Racecourse Pavilion on ‘Champions Day’ on Saturday 4th February 2023. All proceeds from this charity event go to helping to ‘Keep Oliver’s Promise’ to provide world class global Gene Sequencing Equipment to the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Ladies GAA Action 

Action  from the Ladies NFL game between Monaghan & Westmeath which took place in Castleblayney Westmeath held on to win on a score line of 4:10 to 2:13

Wheelchair GAA

Over 100 pupils from St. Macartan's College in  Co. Monaghan got involved in today's Ulster GAA Wheelchair Sports disability awareness roadshow with Shane McCann. Very competitive group of lads

All-Ireland Schools A Basketball Final

Our Ladys were beaten today by 3 points in the All Ireland A Schools Final. After a slow start, OLSS left themselves with a mountain to climb but in the 4th Quarter they very nearly climbed it. With only 43 seconds left on the clock, they were 10 points adrift, but the girls rallied and got it down to 3 points before the final buzzer buzzed. The Presentation School from Kilkenny won 49-46. Hard luck OLSS.
